Safe Child Program in Schools |

No matter what resources parents, schools and organizations use to find perpetrators of child abuse it is always surprising to discover how many of them are right amongst us. The Safe Child Program is an excellent prevention education for children taught through the school system and teaches them skills which are applicable in everyday life. Young children are not told what child abuse is but rather they are given opportunities to practice acting effectively on their own behalf in certain situations that are known to precede abuse. The Safe Child Program starts teaching at the preschool age and raises self esteem in children as well as improves their self reliance. |
