Child Abuse Stories - A Journey Through Hell |

Child abuse stories are a sad commentary on the lack of parenting skills of many Americans. The number of child abuse stories told by survivors of abuse weaves a tale of misguided authoritarian behavior. Now I'm not talking about a little whack on the butt now and then, I'm talking of beating and choking to near death. It is truly a journey through hell and unfortunately for the child, the hell continues into adulthood.
Most child abuse stories seem to have similar elements, parents with financial problems, alcoholism, job problems and a history of abuse. If you can get child abuse stories out of the parents, you will generally find that they were abused, as well.
Many parent think that beating is the only way to get a message through to a child and that is why child abuse stories are so sad. There are a number of different ways that a child can be made to see that they have made a mistake and none of them have to do with beating the tar out of them.
If more love existed within the family structure, then the number of child abuse stories would drop to practically nil. For that is the true way to end this horrible condition, more love.
