In recent child abuse and neglect news from Flint, Michigan, a 16 year old boy was arrested on child abuse charges. What he did is pretty shocking. According to The Flint Journal, the 16 year old abused an 8 month old baby to the point where he/she was not breathing anymore.

The news report did not make it clear who called 911 but in the early afternoon they were called and by the time they got there the baby had gone into cardiac arrest. Doctors found physical abuse to the head and stomach on the baby. There is no word to a connection between the 16 year old and baby. The teen has been arrested and I hope that he is charged as an adult for his wrong doings. I do not understand how anyone can hurt and innocent baby who has no way of defending themselves. Child abuse stories do not always include angry adults.
