How to Reduce Child Abuse Statistics |

There is never a short supply of child abuse and neglect stories in the media. Just today after a quick search on the topic, a long list of child abuse stories popped up including one about the Pope making his way to Australia to apologize to the people for the sexual abuse handed out by Roman Catholic priests around the world. It is disgusting that people out there are willing to do such things but it happens, seen through child abuse statistics.
Lowering or reducing child abuse statistics means spreading awareness about who to watch out for and how to control anger. Child abuse often happens when a parent or caregiver is pushed to the edge. Not knowing what else to do, violence is used. Make sure that any caregiver watching your kids does not have a past filled with anger management issues. If child abuse and neglect is suspected then waste no time in calling (800) 367 0166, which is a Child Abuse reporting hotline. If you are an observer to abuse, you must say something.
