There is a growing problem with abused children in this country, and sadly it is a risk not only to our beloved little ones - but to the future of our moral fibers and society. Children are indeed teh future, and with messed up children come messed up adults and messed up behavior. Almost all murderers, rapists and so on report having some form of problems as a child and usually these problems were related to abuse.
So, let's not make anymore villains if we don't have to. Here are the types of child abuse most happening right now, and what you can do to recognize them:
The types of Child Abuse
- Physical - physical abuse hurts not only the body, but the spirit. A child's confidence is broken, and they often develop anxiety problems from the abuse. Easy to spot, any wound or bruise that is out of the ordinary (especially if the child doesn't want to talk about it) should be reported to the counselor.
- Emotional - These types of child abuse are more subtle. Because they take a professional eye, I would recommend the counselor for any supicious behavior changes.
